Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Sardor Rustambayev held a meeting in New Delhi with the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Nurlan Yermekbayev, Dunyo news agency reports.

During the discussion, the parties explored promising areas of cooperation among SCO member states and the significance of Uzbekistan’s initiatives within the organization.

The SCO Secretary-General emphasized that Tashkent’s proposals aimed at ensuring socio-economic development and strengthening business ties align with the interests of all member states and contribute to enhancing cooperation mechanisms. These initiatives are receiving strong support within the organization’s framework.

The two sides also exchanged views on the development of multifaceted relations among SCO member states, including collaboration between Central and South Asian countries.
