Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, by his resoltion, approved days off in connection with the Eid al-Adha holiday.

According to the resolution, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on 28 June in accordance with the decision of the Ulema Council of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.

On 29 and 30 June, by decree of the President of Uzbekistan from 23 December 2022, are declared days off for all employees, regardless of the schedule. Also, workers with a 6-day work week will have a rest on 1 July.

Thus, residents of Uzbekistan will rest on Eid al-Adha for five consecutive days from 28 June to 2 July 2023.
