Uzbekistan Youth Boxers Win Asian Championship
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan national boxing team in the under-15 category has taken first place in the overall standings at the Asian Boxing Championships, which concluded in Tashkent.
Uzbek boxers won a total of 27 medals, including 13 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze, achieving the best result among all participating teams.
Asian champions in their respective weight categories included Fayozbek Noraliyev (-37 kg), Jasurbek Khayrullaev (-40 kg), Mansurbek Abduhamitov (-46 kg), Sardorbek Omonboev (-49 kg), Javokhir Ne’matjonov (-52 kg), Samandar Juraev (-64 kg), and Ibrokhim Mirzakarimov (+70 kg).
In the girls’ division, gold medals were won by Odina Yusupova (-33 kg), Sarvinoz Zoirova (-35 kg), Zebiniso Abdullaeva (-49 kg), Bahora Makhmudjonova (-55 kg), Malika Ulugbekova (-64 kg), and Zakhro Daniyarova (+70 kg).
Silver medals went to Boburmirzo Murodov (-55 kg), Abdulloh Karimjonov (-58 kg), Azizbek Egamberganov (-61 kg), Ulmasbek Satimov (-70 kg), Ominakhon Nosirova (-40 kg), Mukaddas Zokirova (-58 kg), Shakhona Mullajonova (-67 kg), and Khonzodabegim Baratova (-70 kg).
Bronze medals were secured by Shamshod Komilov (-33 kg), Adizbek Ilkhombekov (-43 kg), Bobur Niyazov (-67 kg), Sarvinoz Raskulova (-37 kg), Nargiza Serikbaeva (-43 kg), and Zukhra Ismoilova (-61 kg).
