During the match, Uzbekistan was losing twice, but the team equalized twice and clinched the victory.

Teams from Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Kuwait, Thailand, Russia, Germany and Sweden participated in the tournament, which took place in Thailand from 24 November to 3 December.

In the semifinals of the championship, Uzbekistan defeated Indonesia (17: 2), Kuwait (9: 2) and Russia (3: 2).
