Uzbekistan wins two silver medals at Asian Canoe Slalom Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan national team has added two silver medals to its tally at the Asian Canoe Slalom Championships taking place in the Chinese city of Xi’an.

Both medals were won in team events. In the kayak (K1) team competition, J. Temirgaliev, P. Eygel, and S. Saidullaev became silver medalists.

In the canoe (C1) team event, A. Klevleev, Sh. Kurbonaliev, and I. Nosirjonov also took second place.

In both disciplines, the Uzbek athletes were defeated only by the host nation, China, securing silver medals at the continental championship.
