Igor Semshov attacks against Uzbekistan national team

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan national team played a friendly match against Zenit Saint Petersburg of Russia in Dubai, the UAE on 24 January. Zenit is current UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup holders.

Pakhtakor Tashkent midfielder Ildar Magdeev opened the score in the 7th minute of the match, which became the only goal in the match.

After conceding goal Zenit started to attack much more fiercely and might have succeeded three times.

Pavel Pogrebnyak didn’t convert penalty kick on 51 minute, and goal by Kim Dongjin was disallowed on 75 minute.

Igor Semshov had his debut in Zenit. He had one on one situation against Uzbek goalkeeper but wasn’t able to score.
