Uzbekistan wins about 160 medals at Islamic Solidarity Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Athletes from Uzbekistan won 158 medals at the fifth Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey from 9 to 18 August.

In particular, athletes from Uzbekistan won 51 gold medals, 42 silver medals and 65 bronze medals.

In the overall standings, Uzbekistan was in second place. The first place was taken by Turkey with 341 medals, the third place was taken by Iran with 133 medals.
