Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first seven months of 2025, Uzbekistan was visited by 6.3 million foreign tourists, according to data from the country’s National Statistics Committee.

Compared to the same period of last year, the number of tourists increased by nearly 2.1 million, representing a growth of 48.9%.

The leading countries of origin were Kyrgyzstan with 1,846,030 visitors, Kazakhstan with 1,466,535, Tajikistan with 1,441,618, Russia with 536,849, Afghanistan with 267,485, Turkmenistan with 208,864, China with 103,158, Türkiye with 96,492, India with 38,008, and South Korea with 25,057. Visitors from other countries totaled 289,023.

By purpose of visit, arrivals were distributed as follows: visiting relatives — 4,338,164 people, tourism — 949,933, business trips — 710,303, commercial visits — 255,136, medical treatment — 54,882, and study — 10,701.
