Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan U-20 national team secured a victory over Indonesia in the second round of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup group stage.

The match ended with a 3-1 win for the Uzbek side.

The first goal came in the 21st minute when Saidkhon Khamidov delivered a precise cross from the left flank into the penalty area, where Mukhamadali Urieboyev headed the ball into the net, opening the scoring.

However, just two minutes later, Indonesia equalized as Jens Raven capitalized on Uzbekistan’s defensive mishap to make it 1-1.

After the break, Uzbekistan regained the lead—only two minutes into the second half, Abdugofur Khaydarov struck a powerful shot past the goalkeeper, making it 2-1.

In the 63rd minute, Uzbekistan extended their advantage—Saidumarhon Saidnurullaev found the net with a precise header following a corner kick delivered by Urinbaev, sealing the final score at 3-1.

With this victory, Uzbekistan has collected six points from two matches, securing an early qualification for the knockout stage from Group C. Iran also holds six points after winning their first two matches.

On 19 February, Uzbekistan and Iran will face off in a decisive match to determine the group winner.
