Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan U-19 will participate in the International Friendship Football Tournament, which will be held in Doha, Qatar, from 10 to 20 January 2009.

Uzbekistan was drawn in group one along with hosts Qatar, Malaysia and Belarus. The group two consists of Japan, Serbia and UAE. One team in group two Tunisia rejected to participate in tournament and organizers are searching for replacement now.

Uzbekistan, headed by Akhmad Ubaydullaev, is participating in this tournament as preparation to World Cup U-20, which will be held in Egypt in 2009.
