Aleksey Evstafeev’sside netted two goals in the first half through efforts of Igor Rogovanov, while Japan scored three goals in the second half to clinch the victory.

Uzbekistan and Japan now will play the second friendly match at JAR Stadium in Tashkent on 8 September 2013.

Uzbekistan is preparing to the AFC U-19 Championship qualifiers. The tournament will be held in Myanmar in 2014. In qualification round, Uzbekistan will play in Group A with Turkmenistan, India and Nepal. The group matches will be held in Qatar.
