The tournament will be attended by 24 strongest teams of the world. Uzbekistan is in Group D along with the United States, the Czech Republic and New Zealand.
In line with tournament regulations, two top teams from each group will qualify to knock-out stage. Four more teams with best results will join them.
Uzbekistan U-17 carried out several training camps. Alexei Evstafeev side held friendly matches against Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. The main training stage took place in England in May.
Uzbekistan will start the tournament against New Zealand on 19 June and will face the USA on 22 June. The last match in the group will be against the Czech Republic on 25 June.
