Uzbekistan controlled the match in all 90 minutes and claimed a 6-0 victory over Qatar. Abbosov (4th minute), Odilov (46, 48), Mirzaev (59, 77) and Ismailov (66) were on target for Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan U-16 head coach Dilshod Nuraliev said that his players were nervous and made some mistakes and it was difficult to play in hot weather. However, he expressed gratitude to his players for full concentration, especially in the second half.

The second match between Uzbekistan and Qatar will be held in JAR Stadium in Tashkent on 17 July.
