Uzbekistan U-16 plays draw with Qatar

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan U-16 played a friendly match against Qatar U-16 in Tashkent on 18 September 2013. The match ended with a 3-3 draw, Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

Uzbekistan opened the score on 14 minutes through efforts of Jonibek Kuchimov. Aziz Ganiev doubled the lead on 39 minutes. At the end of the first half, Qatar netted their first goal.

On 64 minutes, Qatar scored the equalizer. Later Jonibek Kuchimov recorded his brace, while Qatar scored the third goal on 84 minutes.

Uzbekistan is preparing to the qualification round of the AFC U-16 Championship, which will be held in Tashkent on 25-29 September. Uzbekistan will face Palestine and Yemen.
