Uzbekistan U-15 to play at Caspian Cup
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan U-15 will participate in international tournament Caspian Cup, which will be held in Azerbaijan on 9-17 June 2011.
The Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) said that it received invitation to the tournament, which was accepted.
The tournament organizers invited U-16 teams to tournament, but Uzbekistan currently has no U-16 team and decided to send Dilshod Nuraliev’s die.
Dilshod Nuraliev said the tournament will serve as preparation to the Asian Championship qualifiers and players will gain international experience with strong European team.
Uzbekistan U-15 already started preparation and it will play three friendly matches against Japan. On 8 June or 9 June, the team will fly to Azerbaijan.
It is expected that national teams of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Spain, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan will participate the tournament.
