Uzbekistan to take part in the Big Ural International Tourism Forum in Yekaterinburg

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The building of the B. Yeltsin Presidential Center in Yekaterinburg on 25-26 April 2019 will host the VII International Tourist Forum “Big Ural”, in which Uzbekistan will present its national stand.

According to the press service of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, this Forum was organized by the Center for the Development of Tourism of the Sverdlovsk Region, with the support of the Government and the Ministry of Investment and Development of Sverdlovsk Region. More than 2500 specialists of the tourist industry from the Russian Federation and foreign countries will take part in its work.

It should be noted that at the initiative of the organizers of the annual Forum, Uzbekistan will be represented as the country of the Forum’s partner in 2019. Also during the plenary session, the delegation of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on tourism development will make a presentation on the tourism potential of Uzbekistan and investment opportunities in the tourism industry of the country.

The purpose of the forum is to develop cooperation in the field of tourism, exchange of experience and strengthening ties between countries. A number of conferences and round tables with the participation of tourism organizations of foreign countries and the Russian Federation, representatives of the hotel business, hospitality industry experts and the media are planned to be held within the event.

At the national stand of Uzbekistan, visitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with information about the tourism potential of the republic, as well as tour operators from Uzbekistan will hold meetings in B2B format with representatives of the tourist business community and business partners.
