Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Uzbekistan plans to enhance its strategic partnership with the United States. These plans are outlined in the State Program for 2025.

Key priorities include establishing closer cooperation with representatives of the new U.S. administration, organizing a high-level visit, and holding the first round of the dialogue on expanded strategic partnership in Tashkent with senior officials from both countries.

Additionally, by the end of the year, Uzbekistan plans to intensify work within the "C5+1" format, including organizing meetings of ministers, sessions of specialized working groups, and developing issues related to the anniversary summit marking the decade of this format in Samarkand.

Special attention will be given to developing parliamentary ties. The program includes plans to organize visits of key members of the U.S. Congress to Uzbekistan.

The authorities aim to accelerate trade and investment cooperation by attracting potential investors from American countries. Business forums, exhibitions, and other events with their participation will be organized for this purpose.

Security cooperation is also a significant area of focus. Uzbekistan plans to continue working with the United States to maintain the country’s high rating in various international human rights reports.

Simultaneously, the expansion of ties in education, science, healthcare, and environmental protection is expected.

In particular, joint projects aimed at the development of university cooperation, English language teaching, as well as scientific and environmental programs, will be implemented.
