Uzbekistan to record one of highest economic growth rates in 2010
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will record one of the highest economic growth rates in 2010, forecasts Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU).

The EIU said the gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan will grow by 8.1% in 2010.

According to forecast of EIU, Uzbekistan will be fifth in the world on the GDP growth rate in 2010 after Qatar (24.5%), Turkmenistan (11%), Azerbaijan (9.5%) and China (8.5%).

Lithuania will be the slowest growing country in the world, where economy will drop by 3.5%. Venezuela (-3.4%) and Puerto Rico (3%) will follow Lithuania.
