Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan will provide subsidies for the construction and equipping of modular hotels.

This is outlined in a Government Resolution that approves a temporary Regulation on the "Procedure for Providing Subsidies for the Construction and Equipping of Modular Hotels."

From 1 October 2024 to 1 November 2026, subsidies will be allocated for new modular hotels consisting of at least 10 modules and having obtained a compliance certificate, regardless of their category.

The subsidy amount is 1 million soums per hotel room.

To qualify for the subsidy, a company must meet several conditions, including having no tax arrears, no ongoing reorganization or liquidation processes, possession of a compliance certificate, and a document proving the right to the land plot.

Applications for subsidies can be submitted through state service centers or the my.gov.uz platform to the Tourism Committee, which will review the application and make a decision within 15 working days.
