Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 7 August 2024, ahead of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the 6th Meeting of the Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan Business Council took place.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, B. Atamkulov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan, S. Niyazhodjaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan A. Kuantyrov, Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan M. Karimsakov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan D. Rasulov, as well as entrepreneurs and representatives of the business communities of both countries.
As a result of the meeting, several bilateral documents were signed, including an Agreement on Cooperation between the Arbitration Center of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" and the Tashkent International Arbitration Center.
This agreement aims to strengthen the legal framework for resolving disputes between entrepreneurs from the two countries.
Additionally, the parties signed a Protocol outlining the opening of a Trade House and Business Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the creation of a Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan Business Association in Tashkent.
