Uzbekistan to observe World AIDS Day
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fund Forum, Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF) in cooperation with the UNDP will hold events dedicated to the World AIDS Day in Tashkent on 1 December 2011.

The events are organized at the support of the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan, Center for Youth Initiatives Kelajak Ovozi, UNFPA and UNAIDS office in Uzbekistan.

The programme includes photo exhibitions and concert with the Uzbek pop starts. It is also plant to organize stands with information on establishments, working on preventing HIV/AIDS.

World AIDS Day, observed on 1 December each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. On this day, all medical establishments try to disseminate information on diseases and on their treatment.

The main message is to form tolerant relation to people with HIV. Everyone has right for comprehension, support, care and people with HIV are not exception. The events are directed at attracting attention of people to spread of HIV and raising responsibility of each person to preserve their health and relatives.
