The President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a corresponding resolution on 27 December 2013.

Uzbek President founded an organizational committee on celebration of the jubilee. The committee was entrusted to develop a corresponding plan of the events.

In particular, it is planned to prepare and publish a book of selected works of Muhammad Yusuf and shot a documentary film on life and activities of the poet.

It is also planned to hold events and nights dedicated to Muhammad Yusuf in various establishments. In the end of April, it is planned to hold a creative event of Muhammad Yusuf at Uzbek National Academic Dramatic Theatre.
