Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A unified dispatch service will be created in Uzbekistan at short number 112 to receive and automatically process citizen requests, as well as provide emergency assistance in case of incidents and emergencies.

According to the government decree, the unified dispatch service 112 will unite the emergency services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, the National Agency for Social Protection of the Population and Khududgaztaminot.

The main tasks of the service include receiving and automated processing of citizens’ requests, organizing and providing them with urgent and emergency assistance free of charge, managing and coordinating the provision of emergency care.

The service will also exercise systematic control over the timely provision of assistance to citizens by emergency services of various ministries and departments. It will ensure prompt interaction and exchange of information between emergency services.

The service will be launched in stages in all regions of the country until the end of the year.
