The heads of the government of the CIS today supported accession of Uzbekistan to the agreement on free trade zone, Lebedev noted.
Sergey Lebedev said that the heads of the delegation considered issues on joining of Uzbekistan to the agreement on free trade zone. In the result, they adopted decision to support intention of Uzbekistan to join the agreement.
He said that the work on accession should be completed by the end of this year.
The agreement on free trade zone in the CIS was signed in October 2011 and Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine are signees of the document. Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan expressed wish to consider to accession to the agreement.
