Uzbekistan to introduce system on controlling gas equipment
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single information system on accounting state of gas equipment in vehicles Smart-Patrul will be introduced in Uzbekistan. The system is based on contactless radio frequency identification.

This was announced during seminar dedicated to development of network of gas compressor stations in Uzbekistan, which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The system will be based on RFID technology, which is based on induction of high frequency electromagnetic radiation, reading with equipment and receiving response from RFID-cards in high frequency, Econews.uz reported.

Unique RFID tag will be issued to each vehicles and the tag will include information about vehicle owner and vehicle itself, which will also included to database. This should decrease number of vehicles with gas equipment, which does not meet security requirements. Currently, 700 vehicles have RFID tag, which were installed in the first phase of project implementation in Tashkent.

The seminar also informed that Gazamir-Pro in cooperation with Tashkent regional administration started to realize pilot project on transfer of large vehicles to gas. Agriculture and special equipment will start work in gas-diesel regime with use of 30% of diesel and 70% methane gas.

Currently, the equipment were installed at KAMAZ trucks and ISUZU lorries. The work is underway to install equipment at tractors of TTZ-80.2, VT-159 and K-700.
