Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On measures to develop and expand the network of football infrastructure in mahallas” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, during the construction of standard sports facilities in mahallas, priority will be given to team sports.

Every year, before 1 January, a separate annual calendar plan for football competitions, championships and tournaments held in mahallas will be approved.

A system of holding two-stage competitions “Mahalla League” in the age category of 12–15 years and three-stage competitions of the State Security Service Cup in the age category of 16–30 years of mahalla teams will be introduced.

Before the 2024/2025 academic year, a system will be introduced to send the most talented young people who have demonstrated their talent in the Mahalla League competitions to regional football and sports schools, as well as football academies through selection.

From 2024, a system will be introduced to select one school football leader among students in grades 8–11 in all secondary general educational institutions.
