Uzbekistan to face Montenegro without leaders
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Uzbekistan national team left for Podgorica, Montenegro, on 23 March. Uzbekistan plans to hold friendly match against Montenegro on 25 March.
At the same time, the squad of Uzbekistan was significant changed due to injuries to some players, the UFF said. Only 16 players flew to Podgorica.
The federation said that Uzbek coaches will not be able to bring optimal squad to the match as some key players were injured.
Anzur Ismailov, Odil Akhmedov, Server Djeperov, Vagiz Galiulin and Aleksander Geynrikh will not be able to help Uzbekistan.
Injuries of Ismailov, Djeperov, and Geynrikh are not serious. Ahmedov injured his muscle, while Galiulin broke his leg.
