Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A “Legionnaires’ Club” will be established under the Uzbekistan Football Association, according to a resolution signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The club will unite experienced Uzbek players competing abroad as well as other specialists. Football academies and schools will be assigned to them for mentoring and development.

As part of strengthening the national football infrastructure, a digital hub for the early identification of talented players will be created at the National Football Center. In addition, a VAR (Video Assistant Referee) center will be launched to provide centralized monitoring of matches.

Starting in early 2026, the National Electronic Football Platform will introduce online monitoring of training sessions in specialized schools and academies, as well as data collection and tracking of athletes.

From 1 March 2026, ticket purchases for football matches will be carried out exclusively through an online system using QR codes.
