Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On ensuring the continuity of financing of expenditures for state support of agriculture", Norma reports.

The Fund for State Support of Agriculture from the funds of the Uzbekistan Reconstruction and Development Fund will be provided with an interest-free loan in the amount of US$250 million for a period of 1 year.

The terms of repayment of loans allocated by commercial banks to cotton-textile clusters in 2022 will be extended by 1 year (in the part of US$250 million).

It also clarifies the procedure for providing funds to the Export Support Fund under the Export Promotion Agency to provide working capital for enterprises exporting fabrics, knitted fabrics and finished garments and knitwear.

Thus, the Fund will be allocated funds in the following order:

in 2023 - US$50 million,

in 2024 – US$150 million, – subject to return until 1 January 2026.

Earlier it was decided to allocate funds in the amount of US$200 million for a period of 3 years at a rate of 4% per annum.
