Uzbekistan to deliver humanitarian aid to Pakistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan will deliver humanitarian aid for the flood victims in Pakistan. The decision was adopted on 18 August.

The aid will be delivered from Uzbekistan to Pakistan on 21 August 2010. The aid contains tents (for 12 persons), blankets, drinking water, medicines, flour, rice, canned baby food, adults and children's clothing.

Overall, the Uzbek government will provide 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Pakistan worth US$300,000, Pakistani media reported.
