The National Airline of Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan Havo Yollari) is preparing to sign another contract with the Finnish VAISALA company for the delivery of six meteorological stations.
In the 1990s, the airline concluded its first contract with VAISALA to deliver meteorological stations for the Tashkent, Samara, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench and Navoi airports.
The Vaisala-4 station is designed to measure, collect and process data on the state of atmosphere at airports to ensure safe take-offs and landings, AVIAPORT.RU reported.
The station will enable the airports to automatically measure and process data on eight most important indicators, thereby meeting International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.
