Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov met with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Yan.

According to the Ministry of Transport, at the meeting the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation in the field of transport.

In particular, issues of establishing cooperation on the supply of buses produced by large factories in China were considered.

The parties also discussed the issues of financing the purchase of buses, the timing of deliveries and the organization of work on the accelerated delivery of buses from China to Uzbekistan.

In turn, the ambassador expressed her readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in the issues raised at the meeting, emphasizing the importance of reforms aimed at developing public transport in our country.

The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to China Farhod Arziev.
