Uzbekistan to amend laws to fight TB

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will consider a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with improvement of legislation on preventing and treating tuberculosis”.

The drafty law was developed in order to implement resolution of Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures on decreasing tuberculosis prevalence in Uzbekistan in 2011-2015”.

If document adopted, it will allow to improve epidemiologic situation on tuberculosis and efficiency of fight against tuberculosis.
