Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzcharmsanoat Association held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Mayorov, who arrived in our country as part of the delegation of the Russian Federation, as part of the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom. Central Asia".

The purpose of the dialogue is to establish cooperation between the enterprises of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan in the leather and footwear industry, the development of industrial cooperation.

During the meeting, the Tatarstan side reported that today the demand for finished leather and footwear products is growing in the Russian Federation. It is planned to use the potential of Uzbekistan to cover domestic demand. For this reason, it is planned to organize the sale of various types of footwear and fur products of Uzbek production in large retail chains in Russia, including in Tatarstan.

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Uzcharmsanoat Association and the Industrial Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to implement cooperation in this direction as soon as possible. This document assumes that the Tatarstan side will search for potential retail chains for Uzbek enterprises and place our country’s products. The Uzbek side is responsible for receiving orders from Russian stores and their timely delivery.

An agreement was also reached on organizing business tours for companies from the two countries. In the future, it is planned to expand cooperation on the creation of joint ventures through investments from Tatarstan.

The the industrial cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan is the largest cluster in Russia. Functioning since 2015, its main task is to develop innovative products and compete with global brands through the development of cooperation. Today, this cluster includes more than 180 companies.
