The exhibition was held in 1980 for the first time and it is organized each year in Paris. It is largest tourism event in France. National tourism administrations, tourism companies, hotels and airlines from 100 countries each year participate at the event, Jahon news agency reported.

Karavan-travel in cooperation with its French partner Terre Voyages presented routes, rich historic, cultural and spiritual heritage of the Uzbek people.

Uzbekistan has huge historic heritage – over 4,000 ancient monuments, fortresses, museums, minarets, etc. The country attracts thousands of tourists worldwide.

Commercial director of Mondial du Tourisme Frederic Ambrosino said that Uzbekistan had original stand and it presented tourism routes, heritage, literature and examples of applied art.

He said that Uzbekistan is interesting and it is developing fast. Annually, 15,000 tourists visit Uzbekistan and familiarize with Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and others.
