The report said the sides are preparing new draft agreement on cooperation in improvement of ecological situation in zones, which was affected by TALCO.

The agency said the project of the programme on studying affect of industrial enterprises to ecological situation in problematic regions of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan and proposal on preparation of new draft agreement on cooperation in this direction were directed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan and Tajikistan signed an agreement on cooperation in improving environmental situation in zones, negatively affecting by Tajikistan Aluminum Company, on 17 November 1994.
