Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Spain, Farrukh Tursunov, visited Galicia to hold meetings with regional authorities and representatives of leading companies, discussing prospects for cooperation.
The Spanish side commended Uzbekistan’s reforms and expressed interest in strengthening ties in agriculture, light industry, automotive manufacturing, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and labor migration, according to Dunyo News Agency.
Special attention was given to collaboration with Inditex in the textile industry. Discussions focused on establishing joint ventures, adopting sustainable production technologies, and creating a logistics hub in Uzbekistan. Inditex views Uzbekistan as a promising market for sustainable textile production.
Talks were also held with Rodriguez Lopez Auto regarding the development of Uzbekistan’s emergency medical services system, including the joint production of medical vehicles and personnel training.
