Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On measures to radically improve the system of training highly qualified personnel and further development of the scientific potential in the field of dance art” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, on the basis of the Tashkent State Higher School of National Dance and Choreography.

The State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan in the system of the Ministry of Culture in the form of a state higher educational institution.

Also, the Republican Specialized School of Choreography in the system of the Tashkent State Higher School of National Dance and Choreography has been transformed into the Republican Specialized Boarding School of Choreography in the Academy system with the status of a legal entity.

According to the resolution, starting from the 2021/2022 academic year, specialized elementary boarding schools of dance art will be created in the cities of Bukhara, Karshi, Namangan and Urgench.

The main tasks of the Academy and boarding schools are determined.

In particular, the Academy provides mutual integration of science and education by attracting leading and qualified specialists in the field of dance art to the training process, training bachelors and masters of high qualification in dance art, as well as scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel conducting in-depth research in this area.

Education in specialized elementary boarding schools of dance art is held in grades 1–4, and in the Republican specialized boarding school of choreography - in grades 1–11.

In order to further increase the creative activity of professors, teachers, students and students of the Academy and boarding schools, the meaningful organization of their free time during the holidays in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region created a camp with 50 places.
