Uzbekistan coach Vadim Abramov announced a squad, which included 22 players. The squad also includes five representatives of Uzbekistan Olympic team – Sanjar Quvvatov, Akbar Ismatullaev, Salim Mustafaev, Javlon Ibragimov and Jasur Hasanov.
Anzhi requested the Uzbek side not to call Odil Ahmedov as the Russian side will play crucial match against Zenit in the Russian Premier League on 24 July.
Uzbekistan national team carried out its first training at Pakhtakor Stadium. The first leg of the match will be held in Tashkent on 23 July and the second leg in Bishkek on 28 July.
