Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Spain, the Spanish Fund for the Internationalization of Enterprises FIEM, the agricultural corporation WES, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, JSCB Uzsanoatqurilishbank and Agrobank held virtual talks.

The parties discussed the mechanism for providing bank guarantees to attract funds from the FIEM fund to finance joint projects that are being worked out for implementation with Spanish companies in the construction of greenhouse complexes and enterprises for processing agricultural products, the construction of factories for the processing of solid household waste, the organization of pipe production from oriented PVC.

Following the meeting, a decision was made to work out the conditions proposed by the parties to develop a final decision on financing promising projects.
