Uzbekistan slips one place down in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams on 6 August 2015.

Uzbekistan national team lost one place in the ranking and now holds the 76th place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the sixth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (42nd place in the world), Japan (53), South Korea (56) and Australia (65), as well as UAE (69) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Argentina topped the FIFA ranking. Belgium and Germany share the second and third places respectively.
