Uzbekistan, Singapore Discuss Expanding Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks on 29 April with Singapore’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kevin Cheok to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, particular attention was given to strengthening engagement in trade, economic and investment spheres. Both sides noted the significant untapped potential for deepening partnership between Uzbekistan and Singapore.

The participants also welcomed the outcomes of the latest round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, which took place earlier the same day.

Following the talks, both sides expressed confidence that the достигнутые agreements would contribute to further strengthening cooperation and advancing bilateral relations.
