Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will simplify the sale of new imported cars.

On 9 November, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On measures to simplify state regulation of business activities."

Now only legal entities - official dealers of manufacturing enterprises can deal with the sale of new imported cars.

In accordance with the presidential decree, this requirement is canceled from January 1, 2023.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, in January-September 2022, Uzbekistan imported 22,447 cars from foreign countries in the amount of US$564.1 million.
