Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the 2024 Doha Forum, dedicated to innovations in diplomacy, dialogue, and diversity, Uzbekistan highlighted its expertise in cultural diplomacy.
Chairwoman of the Uzbekistan Cultural and Art Development Foundation, Gayane Umerova, showcased major projects, including the upcoming Bukhara Biennale and the 43rd UNESCO General Conference scheduled to take place in Samarkand in 2025.
The presentation also emphasized initiatives such as the digitization of archives and the development of art residencies, combining historical heritage with contemporary creative approaches.
"Uzbekistan positions culture as a key tool for strengthening international cooperation and mutual understanding," noted Gayane Umerova.
