Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18–19 April, a delegation led by Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, visited the United Arab Emirates. The delegation included representatives of major Uzbek business communities.

On the first day of the visit in Dubai, Uzbekistan’s business opportunities were presented to investors operating in the UAE, alongside B2B meetings aimed at fostering direct connections.

The event gathered founders and executives from major companies such as Akfa Group, TRT, UzTex, Grand Farm Trade, Procab, Artel Electronics Group, Uzbekistan Hydrogen Peroxide, Agromir Buildings, Golden House, Navruz International Corp, Nobel Trade, Basalt Uzbekistan, Bobur XBK, and Kvarts. Also in attendance were members of the Public Council for Entrepreneurship Support under the President, heads of relevant ministries and agencies, sectoral associations, and commercial banks.

In his welcoming speech, Davron Vakhabov spoke about the ongoing economic reforms in Uzbekistan, efforts to develop entrepreneurship, and improvements in the country’s tax and legal systems.

The presentations highlighted opportunities for bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing, textiles, and construction.

The event concluded with B2B meetings, providing participants the chance to discuss mutually beneficial cooperation and reach preliminary agreements.

This forum served as an effective platform for exploring the prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, showcasing Uzbekistan’s export potential, and forging new business partnerships.
