Uzbekistan sets up commission to inspect fuelling stations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan created a national working commission to inventory fuelling stations in the country.

National working commission was entrusted to inventory all fuelling stations in Uzbekistan to create effective and reliable system of rendering service in the sector and avoid accidents at fuelling stations, Norma said.

During inventory, the commission will inspect existing and new gas and petroleum stations. In particular, the stations will be checked for adherence to norms and requirements of allocation land for their construction, documentation, quality of construction and exploitation, existence of anti-fire means, and security of the objects.

Based on the result of inventory, the commission will present proposals on improving legal base for construction and exploitation of gas and petroleum fuelling stations, optimization of their placement, construction of new ones, ensure their security.

As earlier reported, fuel tank of the fuelling station, located along small ring road in Yakkasaray district of Tashkent city, was caught with fire on 1 April. There were no victims in the result of the fire at the station.
