Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia to hold session of intergovernmental commission
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Next session of the Intergovernmental joint commission between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia will be held in Tashkent on 5-6 April 2010, Jahon news agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.

The Saudi delegation led by the head of the Main Agency on Investments Amr al-Dabbag will arrive in Uzbekistan to participate at the session. The delegation includes over 70 representatives of ministries, departments and largest Saudi companies.

It is expected that the sides will discuss bilateral trade-economic cooperation, increasing mutual trade turnover, creating the Uzbek-Arab Business Council, boosting mutual visits in culture and expanding scientific-technical interaction.

The agency said the sides are planning to sign agreement on protecting and stimulating investments between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

It is planned to organize business forum of entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
