Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Agency for Advanced Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan has officially registered Georgian company TBC Capital as a participant in the country’s special legal regime known as the “Regulatory Sandbox” for the capital market.

This status grants TBC Capital the opportunity to attract large-scale portfolio investments to Uzbekistan’s securities market.

As part of its role, the company will be able to act as an intermediary between global custodians, international depositories, foreign investors, and investment brokers — thereby facilitating access for foreign capital to Uzbek financial instruments.

TBC Capital is a wholly owned subsidiary of TBC Bank JSC (Georgia), which itself is 100% owned by TBC Bank Group PLC — a publicly traded company listed on the London Stock Exchange. In recent years, TBC Capital has received numerous international accolades. In both 2025 and 2024, Global Finance magazine named it the best investment bank in Georgia and a leading bond issuance organizer in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2023, the respected publication Euromoney awarded it the title of Best Investment Bank in the country.
