Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In February 2024, Uzbekistan significantly reduced natural gas exports to China, according to the General Administration of Customs of China.

According to the Chinese side, last month Uzbek gas supplies to China decreased by more than half, from US$38.77 million to US$18.6 million.

According to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan, in January-February of this year, natural gas exports from Uzbekistan amounted to US$26.7 million, which is 3.6 times higher than the export volume for the same period of the previous year.
