The Russian regulator noted that about US$87 million were transferred from Uzbekistan to Russia in 2016 against US$357 million in 2015 (-75.63%).
The sum of one transaction from Russia to Uzbekistan fell from US$432 in 2015 to US$431 in 2016 and from Uzbekistan to Russia – from US$1,487 to US$1,203.
According to the Russian Central Bank, the volume of remittances from Uzbekistan to Russia made up US$514 million in the fourth quarter against US$496 million in the same period of 2015.
At the same time, the volume of remittances from Uzbekistan to Russian was US$19 million in the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to US$36 million in the same period of 2015.
The Central Bank of Russia monitors such money transfer systems as Anelik, BLIZKO, Contact, InterExpress, UNIStream, Western Union, Kolibri, Zolotaya Korona, LIDER, and Pochta Rossii.
